• Main Body:- Main Body is manufactured out of one piece solid carbon steel block. The Design & diameter of body are so maintained that it can withstand load up to 130 MT up to which is tested 100 times before dispatch. This body is bored to correct size & grinded perfectly so as to accommodate Ram
• Pump Block:- This Block Carries two nos. pumps i.e. Low Pressure Pump & High Pressure pump, one no safety valve, one no release valve one no. pressure gauge.
• Oil Tank & Supporting Stand:-Oil tank is fabricated from metal steel & plates. Oil Tank contains 2 ltrs Hydraulic oil 32 or 68 no. of Indian Oil Corporation. No other oil should be used in the machine.
• Oil Gauge:- Transparent oil gauge is provided on one side of the oil tank, through which oil level is visible. Minimum & maximum position of oil level is marked on this Gauge.
• Ram:-Ram is made self-retracting type by fixing it with carrier Plate, which in turn is fixed with 4 coiled springs. With this arrangement as soon as the load is released the ram regain its original position automatically.
• Pumps:- These are the vital parts of the compressor machine. Low pressure pump is capable of developing pressure up to 500 Kg/cm square i.e. thrust of 40 tons and where as high pressure is capable of developing pressure up to 1100 Kg/cm sq i.e. thrust of 125 Ton. This is the ultimate pressure up to which this machine is tested.
• Release Valve:- Release valve is used to release the pressure of machine. It can be operated simply by hand pressure.
• Safety Valve:- This valve is used to preset the machine at desired loads. This valve provides safety to machine from over loading.
• Pressure Gauge:- Pressure Gauge is provided in the machine, which measures thrust in tons.
  NOTE:- THE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GAUGE IS ONLY PROVIDED FOR SETTING OF THE SAFETY VALVE AND SHOULD BE REMOVED ONCE THIS HAS BEEN DONE. THEN, DURING ROUTINE COMPRESSION WORK,THE GAUGE IS NOT REQUIRED. IN THE ABSENCE OF A PRESSURE GAUGE THE PRESSURE MAY BE SET IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER :- INSERT A THIN PIECE OF PAPER BETWEEN THE TWO HALF DIES AND OPERATE THE PUMP LEVER.WHEN THE DIES ARE BARRELING TOGETHER AND THE PAPER CANNOT REMOVED WITHOUT TEARING.NOW SET THE SAFETY VALVE BY ADJUSTING THE SCREW.
• Oil Seal:-Canvas Synthetic Rubber/Polyurethane Seal is used in this machine. With one seal we can apply about 100-150 joints approximately.
• Closing Bar:- Closing bar is provided at the top of machine. Its function is to take horizontal stress that develops in the machine when it is loaded.
• Return Spring:- Four numbers coiled springs are provided in the machine. There purpose is to bring back the ram to its original position automatically as soon as the load is removed.
• Dies:- Dies are manufactured from carbon steel. The dies are heat treated to hardness of about 40 to 45 Rockwell.
• Oil Filling Hole & Respiratory Valve:-Oil filling hole is provided under the carrier plate & respiratory valve is fitted on it. Under normal working conditions the respiratory valve charges & discharges the air from oil tank. Whenever the oil level decreases the respiratory valve is opened & air is filled through the oil filling hole & respiratory valve again fitted in position.
